Just as big companies can buy the right to name an arena or a stadium, you can buy the right to name a fictional character or location in one of my books.

This listing: If there’s a name you truly hate, and you’d think it would be perfect for a fictional villain, this listing is for you. Your bad guy doesn’t have to be a guy: just let me know if the name is for a male or female character.

One name only: I won’t use a full name for this role, but I will use either a first or last name.

Custom Character Upgrades: Bad guys are not eligible for custom character upgrades, because they’re totally, completely, 100 percent fictional.

Details

Normally, when you buy the right to name a fictional character in one of my books, he or she will meet societal norms and expectations, and will not be physically repulsive, criminally insane, or a psychopath.

When you purchase the “Bad Guy” option, the character you name could be physically repulsive, criminally insane, or a psychopath.

Note and Comments

  • Bad guys are capable of breaking laws and breaking hearts. They might seem charming at first glance, but they could ultimately prove to be sociopaths.
  • Bad guys can be ruthless, cold-hearted, egocentric megalomaniacs. They can also be stupid.
  • Fictional bad guys could be criminal masterminds or low-level flunkies. I won’t know until I start writing.
  • Bad guys tend to lie, cheat, and steal, but I can’t make any guarantees or promises about the true level of badness your bad guy will embody.
